Claudia Lisete Oliveira Groenwald earned a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos, a specialization in Mathematics from the University of Vale do Rio do Sinos (UNISINOS), a Doctor's degree in Education Sciences from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain, (recognized by the University of São Paulo), and a Post-doctoral degree from the University of La Laguna, Spain. She is currently a full professor at the Lutheran University of Brazil, acting as a professor in the undergraduate course of Mathematics and as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education at ULBRA. She has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis on teacher education, with interests in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Curriculum, Information and Communication Technologies, Continuing Education and Teaching and Learning.

    Carmen Kaiber holds a degree in Mathematics from the Rio dos Sinos Valley University (1989) and a PhD in Education from the Pontifical University of Salamanca-Spain (1998). She is currently a professor at the Lutheran University of Brazil working in the Mathematics Degree Program and in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching Science and Mathematics, being the coordinator of the PIBID / Mathematics area of ULBRA. Has experience in teaching and research in the area of Mathematics Education working mainly with the following subjects: teaching and learning of Mathematics, digital technologies in Mathematics Education and training of Mathematics teachers.

    Clarissa Olgin holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics Full Degree from the Lutheran University of Brazil (2007), a master's degree in Science and Mathematics Education from the Lutheran University of Brazil (2011) and a doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education from the Lutheran University of Brazil (2015). He is currently a full professor at the Lutheran University of Brazil.

Adjunct Professor at ULBRA - Lutheran University of Brazil in the course of Pedagogy and acting as advisor to master's and doctoral students in PPGECIM - Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching. Main research interests involve: Informatics in education, Distance Education, Continuing teacher training, Assistive Technology, digital inclusion. Professor and researcher at the Open University of Brazil in the project of Continuing Education of Teachers in Information Technologies and Accessibility 2001-2012). Coordinator of the Laboratory of Inclusion Studies (LEI-PPGECIM).

    Paulo Tadeu holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, a master's degree in Agricultural and Environmental Microbiology and a PhD in Plant Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is a professor at the Lutheran University of Brazil (ULBRA). In undergraduate and postgraduate courses stricto sensu. Has experience in the area of Morphology, with emphasis in Human Anatomy, and in Science Teaching, with emphasis in Learning Assessment and Information and Communication Technologies. He is the leader of the Research Group on Digital Technologies in Science Teaching, linked to the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education of ULBRA, whose objectives are to develop strategies for teaching and learning in science through digital technologies and the training of subjects Technologies. He is coordinator of the Ethics Committee on Research in Human Beings of ULBRA.

    Renato P. dos Santos holds a Doctor's degree in Physics from the Brazilian Center for Physical Research (1987), Post-doctoral degrees in Artificial Intelligence applied to Physics from Universitaet Karlsruhe (TH) (Germany) (1990) and the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (Austria) (1991), and specializations in Data Science from Johns Hopkins University/Coursera and in Machine Learning from the University of Washington/Coursera. He is currently a researcher, doctoral advisor, and adjunct professor at the Lutheran University of Brazil. He was a guest editor for the special issue on Big Data in Education in the journal Themes in Science and Technology Education, is assistant editor of Acta Scientiae (ULBRA) and a reviewer for these as well as International Journal of Physical Sciences, Journal of Virtual Worlds Research, and Nupem Magazine (Unespar). He has experience in Teaching, with emphasis on Teaching-Learning and TIC, currently working on Big Data applications in Science and Mathematics learning. He has worked with virtual worlds, metaverses, and other Web 2.0 technologies for Teaching Physics in Second Life. He developed in the virtual environment Second Life the virtual laboratory SL Physics Lab, a microworld of computational simulations of alternative Physics. He also acts in the dissemination of science with the Física Interessante (Interesting Physics) project, carried out through the website Física Interessante (http://www.fisica-interessante.com/) and in social networks Facebook (FisicaInteressante), Twitter (@fisicainteressa), among several others initiatives of dissemination of Science, Technology and Physics, in particular.

Has experience in research in the area of Science and Genetics Education, working mainly in the following subjects: Education, Science Teaching, Environmental Education and Health Education.
